If you are interested in helping to run one of the visitors galleries, then the process is quite simple, all you need is:

* Some photo editing software. I use a very old version of Paint Shop Pro. This enables me to crop the photos to a standard size and then save them in JPG format with a fairly high level of compression (ie, for poor quality, which is all that is required on the internet for photos.)

* Some software to allow you to create and edit webpages. Such software is freely available on the internet (have a look at www.tucows.com).

* Some software to enable you to upload the webpage and photos onto the internet. I use WS_FTP, which came from Tucows.

* Some webspace. In UK is is normally free.

* A little bit of spare time, may be a few hours per week.
